Worcestershire venues I’ve photographed
- Birtsmorton Court: a moated manor house with its own church and 350 acres of lakes, fields and woodland.
- Curradine Barns, Shrawley: 19th-century barns, gardens and cornfields north of Worcester.
- Manor Hill House, Upton Warren: contemporary, family-run and exclusive use.
- Bordesley Park, Redditch: Tudor barn, marquee and a lake in the grounds.
- The Mill Barns: barns on the Shropshire–Worcestershire border, where my brief was to keep everything candid.
- Grafton Manor and Redhouse Barn close to Bromsgrove, and Bennetts Willow Barn on the edge of Worcester.
- Bredenbury Court Barns and Homme House: both just over the county line in Herefordshire, near Bromyard and at Much Marcle, and both places I’ve photographed weddings.
Beyond those, the county has plenty of other licensed venues, from Eckington Manor in the Vale of Evesham and the Banking Hall at The Angel in Pershore to Brockencote Hall near Kidderminster.
Register offices across the county
Worcestershire Registration Service runs ceremony rooms in Worcester (the Glass Room at The Hive), Bromsgrove, Redditch and Evesham. They’re a good choice for smaller weddings, and several have somewhere outside for a few photos straight after the ceremony. You can read more on my Worcester, Bromsgrove and Redditch pages.
