Photographing a city wedding
City weddings tend to be busier and tighter for time than country ones. Guests arrive from all directions, timings are fixed and there’s often a move between ceremony and reception. Before the day, we’ll have a planning call and you’ll fill in a short questionnaire, so I know exactly who’s who and where we’re going. On the day I stay in the background, keep an eye on the clock and keep the formal shots moving.
Plenty of the couples I photograph are nervous about having their picture taken. That’s fine. Most of what I shoot is natural and unposed, and the few posed photos are quick and usually involve a laugh.
What couples say
“Both of us are camera shy, but he made the whole experience comfortable. We love our wedding photos from the big pictures to the ones that captures the small details.”

“If you’re looking for a photographer that has excellent communication, the patience of a saint, creative ideas, all around good vibes, makes you feel so relaxed and keeps you upbeat and smiling all day, look no further!!”
