Warwick House Wedding Photographer

You can’t pose laughter.

I’ve photographed weddings at Warwick House, an elegant house and gardens on Warwick Road in Southam. It’s a compact, beautifully set-up venue, which suits my relaxed, documentary way of working: everything happens close together, so I can catch the moments without hovering.

About Warwick House

  • Location: according to the venue, it’s a town venue in Southam, about a 20-minute drive from Warwick and 30 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon.
  • House and gardens: ceremony rooms, a drinks reception, reception and wedding breakfast rooms, all within the house and gardens.
  • Options: the venue lists exclusive use, twilight weddings, small and intimate weddings and same-sex marriage.
  • On site: changing rooms, accommodation in the house and a private car park.

Facts are from Warwick House’s own website (October 2026), so please check the latest details with the venue.

Light and photo spots

A period house gives you lovely interiors and window light for the ceremony and the getting-ready photos, and I keep things natural rather than reaching for flash. The gardens are the place for your drinks reception, family groups and a few relaxed minutes of couple portraits away from the crowd.

How I’d approach the day

With the ceremony, drinks, meal and party all under one roof, there’s no travel in the middle of the day. I’ll plan the timings with you on our call, round up the groups quickly in the garden, and spend the rest of the day quietly photographing what really happens.

Practical tips

  • If you use the changing rooms for preparations, tell me the timings so I can arrive early for the getting-ready photos.
  • Agree an indoor spot for group photos with the venue in case it rains.

What couples say

“There was also a section to put a list of formal photos that we wanted, our list was LONG but Craig made sure we had every photo we asked for.”

Taylor, Hitched review, November 2024

“We were very happy to have found Craig to photograph our wedding. From the very beginning he was responsive and professional.”

Rachel, Hitched review, December 2024
