Brockencote Hall Wedding Photographer
You can’t pose laughter.
I’ve photographed weddings at Brockencote Hall, a grand Victorian country manor at Chaddesley Corbett near Kidderminster, only a short drive from my Bromsgrove base. With parkland, a lake and elegant interiors, it’s a venue where natural, unposed photos come easily.
About Brockencote Hall
- Setting: according to the venue, the hall sits in 70 acres of Worcestershire parkland, with a scenic lake, a restored dovecote and a glimpse of the Malvern Hills.
- Civil ceremonies and exclusive use: the venue holds a civil ceremony licence and offers exclusive use.
- Capacity: according to the venue, up to 90 for dining and 140 in the evening.
- On site: in-house catering, 3 AA Rosette dining and 24 hotel rooms for you and your guests.
- Support: a dedicated wedding coordinator and wedding team, according to the venue.
Facts are from Brockencote Hall’s own website (October 2026), so check the latest details with the venue.
Light and photo spots
A Victorian manor with tall windows gives lovely soft light indoors, so I can photograph the ceremony and speeches without flash getting in the way. Outside, the lake and open parkland are perfect for an unhurried walk for couple portraits, and the lawns give plenty of space for relaxed family groups and confetti.
How I’d approach the day
With everything on one estate, the day flows without dashing between locations. We’ll plan the timings on a call beforehand, I’ll gather your group photos quickly, and then I’ll spend most of the day quietly catching what really happens, from the morning nerves to the first dance.
Practical tips
- The venue gives a separate sat-nav postcode (DY10 4QA) from its postal address, so share that with your guests.
- If you stay in one of the hotel rooms the night before, morning preparation photos are easy to fit in.
