Wedding Photography Prices
Wedding photography pricing can be confusing. Every photographer packages things differently, and it’s hard to compare like with like. So here’s a plain explanation of what I charge for 2027 and 2028 weddings, what’s included, and what you can add on. There’s no hard sell.
I’m Craig, a wedding photographer and videographer at Peapod Media in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. I’ve got 10 years in the wedding industry. My style is relaxed and candid, because you can’t pose laughter. Couples have given me a 5.0 rating across 65 reviews on Hitched, and I won a Hitched Award for Worcestershire in 2023, 2024 and 2025. I was also named a Central England Prestige Awards 2025/26 winner.
How Much Does a Wedding Photographer Cost in 2027/28?
My wedding photography starts from £999. If you’re looking for something smaller or with a lower budget, I’ll give you a bespoke quote. Tell me what you have in mind and we’ll work out what fits.
What’s Included
- About 300 edited photos for a 6-hour day
- 600+ edited photos for full-day coverage
- 25 road miles of travel included
In 2027 and 2028 the Part Day is £999 for 6 hours (around 300 edited photos), the Full Day is £1,299 for 10 hours (600+), and the Full Day Diamond is £1,699, which adds a Bellissimo Perfetto 12×8 album with 10 spreads. Your online gallery will be ready within 6 weeks of the wedding.
A 6-hour day suits many couples and usually covers the main moments. Full-day coverage gives the story more room, from the build-up through to the evening, and that’s why the photo count roughly doubles.
Optional Add-ons
- Engagement shoot (1 hour): £200. It’s a relaxed chance to get used to being in front of the camera before the day.
- Second photographer: £300. Useful if you want both sides of the morning preparations or more angles through the day.
- On-camera video highlights: £250, with the raw footage delivered in HD.
- Drone photos: £70.
- New for 2027: instant thank-you prints from £200. Up to 50 6×9″ prints with a personal message, printed on the night.
Booking: £100 Deposit
A £100 deposit secures your date. I’m now taking bookings for 2027 and 2028, and popular dates do go, so it’s worth checking early.
Is Price a Good Indicator of Quality?
Not on its own. Price is only part of the story. Look at full galleries rather than just highlights, read reviews, and make sure you get on with your photographer. They’ll be with you for most of your wedding day, so feeling relaxed around them matters as much as the photos.
